Cristina Fernandez and Bachelet Will Visit Simultaneously the Vatican

Buenos Aires, Dec 23.- The presidents of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez, and of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, will coincide in the Vatican in January invited by the pope Francisco, announced the head of the Pink House.
In a toast yesterday evening with the journalists credited before the Palace of Government, Cristina Fernandez revealed that the invitation is to commemorate 30 years of the peace agreement signed between Argentina and Chile regarding the conflict of the Beagle.

During the dialogue, the president underlined that she is preparing the trip to the Holy See for the commemoration of this important agreement, in whose materialization the Pope Juan Pablo II back then had an active participation, points out the news agency Telam.

Although the meeting has no date yet and it is hopeed that these days the official invitation should come, the summit between three heads of state might materialize in the middle of next month.

It is named Treaty of Peace and Friendship to the agreement signed between Argentina and Chile in 1984 that determined the finished and definitive solution of the limits between two countries from the channel Beagle up to the Drake passage to the south of the Cabo de Hornos.

The agreement finished the Conflict of the Beagle, which led to both countries up to the rim of the war on December, 1978.

This will be the fifth meeting of Cristina Fernandez with pope Francisco since Jorge Bergoglio was elected a supreme pontiff in March, 2013. (Prensa Latina).
